“Shaw has made a tremendous impact on my life from the moment I brought him home. As a person who has suffered from the effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI) depression, anxiety, and anger have become so normal that it is sometimes difficult to combat.

Shaw has really given me purpose again. I’m way calmer, less agitated, and way less angry. He has helped put me on a schedule and I now get out of bed for him. Some days, I could stay in bed all day and that wouldn’t bother me at all. But now I’m up before dawn and I’m getting moving and active several times a day.
